About Me

I believe that every individual and family deserves to be supported with dignity, respect, and compassion throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. As a doula, my goal is to provide unbiased, nonjudgmental support that honors each person's unique values, beliefs, cultural background, and birth preferences. I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where families feel heard, informed, and empowered to make decisions that are best for them.

With more than 23 years of experience working with children and families, along with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of building trusting relationships and meeting people where they are. Throughout my career, I have supported families from diverse backgrounds, recognizing that every family's journey is different and deserving of individualized care.

As a doula, I do not seek to influence a family's choices but rather to provide evidence-based information, emotional encouragement, and practical support so they can make informed decisions with confidence. Whether a family chooses an unmedicated birth, epidural, cesarean birth, breastfeeding, formula feeding, or any other path that meets their needs, I believe they deserve respectful support without judgment.

My commitment is to walk alongside families with empathy, professionalism, and understanding, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and empowered during one of life's most significant transitions. By fostering trust and providing compassionate care, I hope to help families approach their birth and postpartum experiences with confidence, strength, and peace of mind.
